Emil Hilker, a German emigrant and grandfather to Bob and Tom Hilker, began the Raleigh business in 1916. Emil turned over the family business to his twin sons Jerry and Jim Hilker who went their separate business ways some 35 years ago. While keeping with current technology and the needs of today's dry cleaning customers, now the third generation twins Tom and Bob, continue their family legacy. It's not hard to see that twins and GREAT DRY CLEANING runs in the family.
